Incoming orders & administration
With the help of the "Digital OWLLAB order" module, you can equip your dental customers with compatible order software. A dentist either sends you complete orders online, e.g. including appointment scheduling, tooth cross, additional requests, intraoral scans, DVTs, photos, etc. - or generate a QR code, print it out and attach it to the working documents & impressions. All you have to do now is scan a QR code, have barcodes printed automatically, create an image of the working documents and, if available, accept a cost estimate for your digital service processing.
Work preparation
Ideally, you should use the OWLLAB system in every room or department, including work preparation. This may have decisive advantages. With Owllab, you register the location of your orders so that you can view an overview of the location at any time. Employees in work preparation can already store their service items in the system.
CADCAM
If you work with CADCAM technologies, OWLLAB can save you a large number of work steps.
In OWLLAB, STL files, intraoral scans or other files can be stored directly in the digital order and exported directly to CADCAM programs. The MDR-compliant documentation of material batches can also be carried out at this point.
In the departments
The completion or dental processing of the order can be wonderfully accompanied by OWLLAB. The technicians can use the order slip or tray label to retrieve all information relating to the work, document material batches in accordance with the MDR and assign service items with their technician number. Work can be logged for technicians.
MDR, billing & team play
For batch documentation, product codes are simply scanned and then the tray label of an order is scanned and the issue is closed.

Mobile support at the workplace

MDR-compliant material documentation, creation and storage of photos, viewing of 3D models and assignment of technician numbers to service items are possible directly and easily without having to visit a computer.
Billing and outgoing work
Thanks to the cooperation with various billing providers, all service items and material information already stored or now recorded in the accounting department can be exported to compatible billing software. At best, only the invoice needs to be printed out there.
OWLLAB can also make work easier when using a billing program that does not yet have an interface. For billing purposes, OWLLAB creates an MDR-compliant material certificate, which is attached to the invoice for the customer.

If the work preparation department notices that particularly good or particularly questionable work documents regularly arrive from a practitioner, this can be stored in the risk manager, including with image information, without prior meeting barriers. On the laboratory side, planning is really smart and coherent. When an order is received, a completion or delivery date is usually known so that routes are already planned and can be scheduled by the software in individually plannable routes or distributed manually by the laboratory management.
